Lumen prints on light sensitive black and white photographic paper. I feel an innate connection with creatures around me. They bring joy and importantly hope. They stay out of our way on the whole and get on with their lives. The birds that have made this series have died either being hit by a vehicle or of natural / unknown causes. I expose these lumens in the sun for hours or days. They leave an imprint that will last forever, fixed as a photographic image.
